Blue Heron Cottages of Indian Rocks Beach, Florida

THE HAPPY HERON is a tranquil, uniquely styled, spacious cottage in the most prime location! It is one of the only Blue Heron Cottages with its own WASHER & DRYER! This welcoming cottage offers that sea breeze you’ve been craving.

Couples, friends, and families alike can take advantage of morning beach walks, sunset strolls, surf shop finds, dinner on the town, followed by a stop at the ice cream shop. Think of it as beach on one side, town on the other, and you’re right in the middle!

Single Floor Beach Cottage

As you take your first step onto the patio of the first light blue cottage on the right (Cottage #9 on “Blue Heron Row”), you’ll be greeted by the charming white fence, as well as a table with two chairs for outdoor dining, and two BRAND NEW Adirondack chairs for morning coffee, evening spirits, or midday reading.

Mid-Century Modern Beach House

Then to the right is the living room, which has plenty of space for the whole crew to relax and enjoy each other’s company or watch their favorite show. There’s a couch that pulls out into a full SLEEPER SOFA, plus two modern armchairs and coffee tables.

As you enter the RANCH STYLE single-floor cottage, you will be welcomed by our signature BLUE HERON artwork to the left sitting above a topical coral dresser. You’ll also see the mid-century modern DESK right below the FLAT SCREEN TV.

Work from Anywhere Beach Rental

THE HAPPY HERON can easily become your Beach Cottage OFFICE and/or your CLASSROOM on the Gulf! The cottage is equipped with Cable, Internet, and WiFi. There is plenty of space for the whole family to spread out their work on the desk in the foyer and/or the peninsula in the kitchen.

Full Kitchen for Vacation Cooking

The open concept kitchen has sitting for four people at the bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances, dishes, and amenities needed to make any type of meal. It also offers options for either drip or Keurig coffee.

Sleeps 6: 2 Bedrooms plus a Sleeper Sofa

The cottage has ideal sleeping quarters with 2 bedrooms, 1 full-sized sleeper sofa, and 1 full bathroom. To the left of the bathroom you have the TEAL ROOM, which is the Master Bedroom with a king-sized bed, closet, flat screen TV, and WASHER DRYER.

Master Bed is King-Sized. Guest Bed is Queen-sized.

To the left of the Master bedroom you will come across the CORAL ROOM, which has a queen-sized bed, and a closet with a dresser & makeup station. Guests love the VR Bus artwork in this room!

Whether you’re craving fresh seafood caught just off the coast, international cuisines like Italian and Mexican, or classic American fare, there’s a seaside eatery ready to tantalize your taste buds. Enjoy your meal with a backdrop of stunning sunsets, and listen to the gentle waves as local musicians serenade diners.
